So much pain we don’t see, don’t want to see, don’t know how to help. The story of domestic violence is close to all of us, whether we choose to see or not, we have all probably known someone surviving or have survived ourselves in a violent home. The statistics are in this final panel. Don’t know what you can do? Give to your local woman’s shelter. When we finally are able to leave, we leave we nothing. Imagine starting again with nothing, leaving with a damaged body and a broken self esteem… to nothing.
