“Hell fire, I’d like you better if you let me do all the talking”
This woman lived life on her own terms. She was pulled out of school in the 2nd grade to help support her family by doing ironing during the Depression. She never learned to read or write, yet her wisdom was pervasive. Strong women command attention. I wish I had listened more carefully to my grandmother.
